Project aims and target groups
The main aim of the project is to promote entrepreneurial culture among learners in vocational training institutions and labour market courses, including such with socio-economically disadvantaged background, through adaptation, enlargement and transfer of a training course and a handbook previously developed in the EU Project PECAE.
Hence, the project will foster entrepreneurship culture among VET teachers and trainers, as well as among labour market trainers. They will be able to efficiently impart their adult learners with abilities to solve problems, set strategic goals and priorities, make decisions and assume responsibility for those decisions. Furthermore, the final beneficiaries – adult learners, will learn to be more pro-active and creative, show personal initiative and confront risks in conjunction with implementing ideas.
Finally, providing further key competences to VET teachers and trainers will target both active working learners and unemployed learners. Entrepreneurial skills will allow the former group to better explore and promote new ideas, which might be a value asset for their organizations, commonly known as intra-entrepreneurship. Within the latter group, entrepreneurial skills will help the young people to transform ideas into action and eventually foster self-employment.
